The SEGUE SESSIONS are India’s first large-format skill building initiative for women seeking transition in their careers, a pioneering effort by us- FLEXI, Segue is a Self Awareness programme for Women Professionals. The SEGUE SESSIONS are proposed to be conducted across the country, reaching thousands of women professionals to help them bridge their hiatus in searching for a sustainable career. We believe in applied research – the making use of research based inputs to enable workplace development Via research projects conducted by us, it has been found that women face challenges when they choose to make a transition to a career whether full-time / flexi-time / part-time.
We in pursuing our vision of providing sustainable careers for women are committed to providing opportunities, knowledge and means for women to segue from one life stage / career stage to another life stage / career stage. The SEGUE SESSIONS provide opportunities for women to learn from senior women leaders and subject matter experts on career development and career transition.
The objective of the Segue Sessions is to enable women who are on a career break to learn from ‘role-model’ experts on skills essential to make a career come-back. The program includes sessions on the importance of a) Networking for a segue, b) Managing Internal Stakeholders via New Ways of Working c) Negotiating for a win-win, and d) Entrepreneurial Opportunities, subjects which are critical for successful career transition.
Around 4000+ second career women registered for the SEGUE SESSIONS event in Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Pune. 1500+ women benefited from the workshops co-created with corporate organisations. PepsiCo India, Deutsche Bank Group, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, Cadbury India, CavinKare, CapGemini, Marico, Accenture, IBM, IFB, Genpact, MphasiS, Vodafone, and Siemens were the sponsors.
